Brendoncare is a registered charity, dedicated to improving the quality of life for older people through their care homes, close care facilities and social clubs across the south of England.
Brendoncare has ten care homes across the south of England; five in Hampshire. Each care home has its own distinctive personality and provides a wide spectrum of services, depending on location, including nursing care, care at the end of life, intermediate care, specialist dementia care, residential care and respite care.
At four of the homes, there are close care facilities where residents live independently, supported by individually tailored care and support packages if required. All the day-to-day maintenance is arranged and managed by Brendoncare. Residents can access comprehensive care and personal support services 24 hours a day – including nursing care, personal care or assistance with domestic tasks. By linking these services with a care home Brendoncare can support changing care needs and work to meet an individual’s care needs in their own home. There are a range of shared facilities available on site – typically these include a restaurant and coffee shop, residents’ lounge, shop, a library with IT facilities and hairdressing services.
Brendoncare Clubs are friendship and wellbeing clubs dedicated to providing older people with opportunities for social interaction and to meet new friends in a welcoming and supportive environment. Currently there are 90+ clubs in Hampshire and Dorset offering fun and friendship to 1,400 members. The clubs are run by a team of dedicated volunteers, supported by a small team of locality managers.
